Ingredients
For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta
- 8 oz (225g) spaghetti or pasta of choice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
For the Honey Garlic Chicken Bites
- 1 lb (450g) boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-size chunks
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for cooking)
Honey Garlic Glaze
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Cream Sauce
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring continuously. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Add grated parmesan and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Keep warm on low heat while preparing the chicken.
Step 3: Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken chunks with salt, pepper, and toss them in cornstarch. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning to brown all sides, until fully cooked.
Step 4: Make the Honey Garlic Glaze
In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, vinegar (or lemon juice), minced garlic, and optional chili flakes. Pour the glaze over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Stir to coat and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thick and sticky.
Step 5: Plate and Serve
Serve the creamy garlic parmesan pasta on a plate and top or serve alongside the glazed honey garlic chicken. Sprinkle chopped parsley over both for a fresh finish.
Tips and Variations
- Use penne or fettuccine instead of spaghetti if preferred.
- Add steamed broccoli or sautéed spinach for a veggie boost.
- Swap parmesan for pecorino or a blend of Italian cheeses.
- Double the sauce if you like it extra creamy.
