🍫 Ingredients
For the Brownies:
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 (16 oz) can HERSHEY’S Syrup
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
For the Icing:
- 3 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
🧁 Instructions
1. Preheat the oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 10×15 inch baking pan.
2. Make the brownie batter:
In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla, flour, HERSHEY’S Syrup, and nuts if using. Mix until fully combined.
3. Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. Prepare the icing:
While the brownies are baking, combine melted butter, cocoa powder, and 1 tablespoon of milk. Heat in the microwave just until it begins to boil. In a separate bowl, add confectioners’ sugar and stir in the cocoa mixture. Beat until smooth, then add vanilla. Gradually mix in remaining milk until you reach a spreadable consistency.
5. Ice the brownies:
Once brownies are done, let them cool for 5–10 minutes. Spread the icing evenly over the warm brownies. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Allow the icing to set.
6. Cool completely and serve:
Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy!
